Come and find out on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 4:30PM in the Housing Lawn. Chicago-based band EMPIRES, with Tom Conrad ex- The Academy Is and Max-exBlacktop Mourning…, will be judging and performing!!!! The bands competing are:

Chicago’s EMPIRES will play a free show on the FAU Residence Hall lawn Friday evening 3-20 at 6pm. The Florida Atlantic University Boca Campus is located at 777 Glades Rd Boca Raton, Florida. The band’s first cd HOWL which was widely acclaimed, can be downloaded for FREE here.
